What a pleasure to attend the Design Bloggers Conference sponsored by Sunbrella, Custom Fabrics. This was a great way of meeting the top Design Bloggers and exchange ideas and meet new friends.

Alstroemeria, A Flower That Lasts and Lasts.

I call them Mexican Lilies but the correct name is Alstroemeria and they certainly brighten up the Studio/Office. These flowers last for a least three weeks but be sure when you purchase them they are fresh and tight budded. The selection of colors is amazing and I especially like the deep burgundy to hot pink in these particular flowers.

Beautiful setting to meet and present our Spring Collections to a delightful group of Media Representatives Interior Designers, and Retailers. Pelican Hill, the Paladio inspired resort in Newport Beach, California was the site for the event. Guests had the opportunity of seeing the incredible buildings and gardens on this magnificent property. Some of those in attendance were: Margarite Clark, MC Public Relations; Karyn Millet; Interiors Photographer; Darra Baker, Traditional Home Magazine, Warren Sheets, Interior Designer; Mickey Von Hemert,Interior Designer;Donna Pennington also of Von Hemert Designs; Courtney Ellis Dever andKathryn Pietra, Ellis Design Group; Chris Christensen, Senior Editor, Orange Coast Magazine.

Our new collections for Sunbrella, Miles Talbott, Gat Creek and Woodard were presented.

Sunbrella/Joe Ruggiero Designer Event/ Santa Ana.

Designers came out in wonderful garments of Self Expression as we launched the Joe Ruggiero Collection at Design Center Associates in Santa Ana, California. Owner Merrill Plou and Sales Representative for the Joe Ruggiero Collection, Pat Crane helped us greet a wonderful group of California Designers, eager to hear more about the Sunbrella/JR Collections for Miles Talbott.

Jeff Lincoln's New York Apartment Shows Subtle Color.

I really like the use of subtle colors in Jeff Lincoln's New York apartment. The mix of antiques and whimsical objects along with contemporary pieces and art make a bold statement.

An easy to live with decor. Nice going Jeff.

Easy idea for a rainy day. Construction paper cottage with old magazine clippings pasted on. Fun to dream and create with my grand daughter.

A delightful champagne reception was hosted by Houston Design Center owner, Sheri Roane in the Charles Ray Showroom.

What a delightful way to meet friends and Houston designers.

Charming Tuscan Style Boutique Hotel in Houston, Texas

The Charming Granduca Hotel in Houston is a delightful spot in a lovely part of Houston. This tiny hotel reminded me so of visits to the Tuscan region of Italy.

The restaurant was excellent. Ask for the manager:Mary Grace.

The Charming Granduca Hotel in Houston, Texas was the site of our Lunch & Learn. This wonderful Tuscan-inspired boutique hotel was the perfect site to meet new friends and present my latest collections. I certainly felt like I was in Tuscany.
