Ideas For Kate's Wedding Dress

Why not a scarf-like veil and a simple tailored dress (left). The dress on the right was inspired by the "Merry Wives of Windsor." These dresses I designed using my Sunbrella fabrics (yes, all the fabrics including the veil are Sunbrella.) With the weather threat, I thought the use of Sunbrella extremely appropriate for the Royal Wedding Dress.

I like the mix of these colors against my green garden for Summer 2011 Outdoor Decorating.

My grand daughter brought me a rose from the garden as a gift. Why is it that such a small gift means more to me than a "truckload" of flowers?

I delight in watching my grand children grow and the unconditional love they bring to me.

The Party of Two Centuries. Le Bal Oriental of Alexis de Rede.

This legendary party hosted by Baron Alexis de Rede and his dear friend Marie-Helene de Rothschild in 1969. This spectacular event was held in the Hercules Galleries at the Hotel Lambert on the Ile St. Louis. The wonderful head pieces were designed by St. Laurent.

What an enchanting, one of a kind event.
