We are pleased to announce that Mitchell's Interiors has won the Sunbrella/ Joe Ruggiero Display contest. We were impressed with all the entries but believe this had the most impact at the point of sale.
Our New products for the Italian Classico Collection are now beginning to have their "finishing touches." Here at Gat Creek we see the Classico Cupboards. I will be using these on either side of a large window in the showroom. They will add architecture to the room and were inspired by doors I found in an Italian Villa. Look for more "behind the scenes" as we prepare for this new introduction to debut at the Miles Talbott Showroom in October.
Among the small topiary on the back terrace are these small orchid plants which were given to me as a gift by a very thoughtful dinner guest. I will have to wait until spring to see more flowers but it is so beautiful to see them tucked in amongst the green plants and trellis.

Joe Ruggiero draws on inspirations from extensive travel throughout Italy and his family heritage. The new collection will feature fabrics from Sunbrella, Case Goods from Gat Creek, Upholstery Miles Talbott. A new collection of Sunbrella Throws, specially designed by Joe Ruggiero, will be part of the Italian Classico Collection.
Yes, our present day "Barbarella" Daphne Guiness shows her amazing personal clothing collection at an exhibit at The Fashion Institute of Technology, New York. This is a "must see" for the sheer fantasy of these clothes from some of the world's great fashion houses.
In September a Fine Art Exhibit and sale fills Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square. During my visit to this city of "brotherly love" I was able to view some wonderful art and enjoy this historic park. It had been 46 years since I last visited Philadelphia where I attended College, Villanova and Graduate School, The Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania.
A celebration of New Introductions for our Sunbrella Collection happened at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia. We enjoyed meeting some of Philadelphia's top designers, retailers and media to launch our new Italian Classico Collection which will debut this fall at the High Point Furniture Market. George Jordan, President of Miles Talbott attended along with representatives of Sunbrella and Gat Creek.

Some of my favorite table settings at the Hamptons Classic Event. There are so many to choose from but here are the ones that particularly caught my fancy. From very colorful and country to subtle and elegant.
Lunch at the Getty Center Restaurant is a real treat. Reservations a must to request a window or patio. It is a delightful experience. The flowers are always beautiful as well.
