Sunbrella For Girl's Room
When it comes to little girls it is so nice to know you can depend on the performance of Sunbrella fabrics. I wanted a soft feminine room for this growing young lady and with my collection of Sunbrella fabrics I was able to achieve that look for drapery, trims, top of bed and upholstery. Not to mention the covers for the little terrace.
All available at Miles Talbott.

Sunbrella "Top Of Bed"
This bed ensemble I designed for my daughter Meg's home. The entire bed is designed with my Sunbrella fabric collection. I enjoy using Sunbrella for "top of bed" it wears beautifully.
Available at Miles Talbott. The bed is my Colette Bed for Gat Creek and is named after my grand daughter. The finish is Malibu Mist.
All Made in America.
A Room With A View!
There are no worries of the sun or spills and stains. With my Sunbrella upholstery fabric you can enjoy the view and the California sunshine. The sheer curtains at the window are also made of Sunbrella fiber. I also like large pillows that can be changed to create different decor and color accents. The Tribeca modular upholstery makes it easy to move pieces and change the sitting areas. All available at Miles Talbott and made in America.
The side tables are from Gat Creek inspired by Japanese designs, beautiful solid cherry and also made in America.

The Tie Dye Look For Sunbrella
I have long been a fan of the ancient art of "tie dye." Now we have taken that look and designed a collection for Sunbrella that has all the look of the hand knotting process with the properties of Sunbrella. No worry about the sun or stains. These fabrics are kid and pet friendly.

Maison et Objet. Now showing in Paris.
The Paris design show Maison et Objet is now in progress. I had to share with you my son-in-law's beautiful work for his company Accents of France. It amazes me how these young men today can handle the marketing, manufacturing, financing and the raising a beautiful family with my daughter of course. Here are photos from his display in Paris and a piece I have in my own garden.

Creating the JR/Sunbrella Collection for Fall 2012.
Twice a year we create our introductions for Sunbrella. After meetings on trends, fashion forecasts, input from Glen Raven executives from international design shows (extremely valuable) and lifestyles; we begin to create designs that will be introduced at furniture and fabric markets. I am so proud of our team and the wonderful energy they bring to this process. Pictured here are Sunbrella Executives. (left to right) Robert Hernandez, West Coast Sales Representative, Greg Voorhis, Design Director, Me and Emily Cosgrove, Senior Designer.
After our selections are finalized Emily Cosgrove and Greg Voorhis enter the color, fabric name, yarn combinations, warp and construction for each fabric. We always work outside to make sure we have the best possible light for the color selections.

Nice Interior Designer Comment. Thank You Kristen.
Did you know that you can use Sunbrella Fabric for Interior use? Selecting Sofa & Accent chair Sunbrella fabric for my client's living room from Joe Ruggiero Sr. Sunbrella Collection.
An extremely durable fabric for long term use, or for those mishaps with kids & pets. Can handle stains such as; chewing gum, ink, lipstick, nail polish, dried blood, & wine. Can be cleaned with BLEACH! Now that's a workable fabric!

Subtle Colors For Our "Made in America" Sunbrella Spring Collections.
Barely There pastels will be the color story for Spring Market. Our new "Made in America" Sunbrella collection features subtle herringbone construction using re-cycled yarns. Look for a very American theme this spring.

Andree Putman, One Of My Favorite Design Icons.
One of the best moments of my career was the interview I did with French designer Andree Putman. This design treasure met me in her loft in Paris. I interviewed her for my "Best of French Design" special for HGTV. Not only does she have wonderful personal style but she also has a designer's soul. What a pleasure it is to know this divine lady.
