One of my favorite California state parks is Los Encinos right here in the valley. Originally settled by a French family the Garniers, this is a charming spot to visit. It was saved by the citizens of Encino after severe damage from the Northridge earthquake. We all hope this beautiful refuge will remain an oasis in the middle of questionable development.
Joe, It's great to be able to read your thoughts and follow your design activities via this blog. I STILL miss Homes Across America. It was the best design show ever. I wish they'd bring it back. Now on HGTV all you ever see is cheapo quick-fix makeovers and real estate shows. Where's the appreciation of architectural and interior design? Maybe you should start a new network!
