Natuaral Greens and Things From The Garden For Christmas Decor.
I like to use a mix of natural materials for decorations at Christmas. A mix of pine, balsam, magnolia branches, eucalyptus sprayed gold, branches of berries and even branches of preserved oak leaves. It makes for a festive bouquet here in my studio.

Christmas Decorations From The Heart.
This Christmas our grand daughter helped us decorate the tree and house. What a joy to have her hands help us and contribute her ideas. The paper chain garland, the pink bows for the grand daughters and the blue ribbon for our first grand son. This is what makes this season so very special.

A Natural Christmas
Natural greens decorate our house with simple red ribbons. Even poolside gets decorations of ivy topiary and bay laurel. The hydrangea seems to be holding up during the rain, sun and cold. Living greens and cuttings of holly, noble fir and other Christmas greens become festive with a simple touch of red ribbon.
Holly from my daughter's garden is the perfect accent for the courtyard fountain.

Mix of Greens in My Studio
A like to mix dried hydrangea, fresh pine and laurel in my Christmas arangements. The subtle shades of the hydrangea in dusty pink and grey are the perfect compliment for the dark green evergreens. Here in my studio is an ever changing seasonal theme that brings dried and fresh plant materials together. I also thought a touch of red was right for the season. This is what I am looking at this morning as the sun shines in to my studio/office after a heavy rain.
