A Visit To The Los Angeles Getty Museum.

Always find my visits to the Getty Museum enjoyable and inspirational. The exhibits are constantly changing and the photo galleries are a great way to study California History; I also enjoy the gardens and docent tours. I especially like the ride up the mountain in the tram and on a clear day you can see the ocean; exhilarating! With guests, always a good idea.

Lunch At The Getty Museum. Memorable.

Had a delightful lunch at the Getty Museum here in LA. The Mixed Berry in Puff Pastry, and a selection of Chef's Sweets were excellent. The Chicken Pot Pie was one of the best I have tasted along with the Flank Steak with Roasted Baby Vegetables on Garlic Mashed Potatoes. A very refreshing salad of Strawberries, Candied Walnuts, Field Greens and Blue Cheese was a very nice addition. We had a very enjoyable experience.

The creative plantings at the Getty Museum, here in Los Angeles are enhanced by these marvelous container gardens. A mix of fragrant alyssum, variegated geranium and colorful vines and perennials make a visit to the museum a horticultural experience. Great ideas for home gardens as well.
