By all standards California interior designer, Rose Tarlow is one of America's Design Treasures. This woman has a natural ability of creating stunning interiors with a gift from within. Her collections of fabrics and furnishings are truly inspired. I have had the pleasure of interviewing this design legend in her spectacular home in Bel Air, California and it is magical. The slight of hand, the simple touches are no less than spectacular when you visit this beautifully designed home. I salute Rose Tarlow as a Design Icon.
Without a doubt, Babe Paley had such charisma and personal style. She was without a doubt a walking "design icon." Having worked for Bill Paley at CBS I would watch her come into Black Rock at 51 West 52nd Street and the world just seemed to stop as she wisked out of her car. What a treat to see this woman and be in her presence. (photo below)
