The New York Conservancy gave its' annual Orchid Event in Manhattan and the designers certainly contributed some wonderful designs for the tables. Always a beautiful event.

Large bouquets of spring blooms at Michaels Restaurant bring a breath of Fresh Air.
What a brilliant idea to use the colors of Autumn outside New York's Tavern on the Green to set the mood of the New York Conservancy's Dinner Dance. New York Party Designer Bronson van Wyck did a masterful job of using a "see through" tent to capture the beauty of Autumn In New York and create a spectacular indoor/outdoor effect. I applaud your talents to make this a memorable event for design inspiration. Bravo!!
A small New York apartment never looked so good. This space was designed by and for designer Maureen Footer and what a lovely job she has done with basically a one room apartment. The placement of the work area, living room and bedroom all work together and give the illusion of a much larger space. The bedroom is merely divided by an upholstered screen Each and every piece has been beautifully curated by Maureen and the mix of colors, wallcovering and fabric choices "smashing." Brava Maureen.
I have known Susan Zises Green for over thirty years. She has always amazed me with her boundless energy, wonderful style and charm. I have been so impressed with her collection of Majolica and the colorful paterns she has collected for many years. I salute this wonderful New York Decorator. Brava!

I certainly admire the style of New York designer Vicente Wolf. I first met Vicente almost thirty years ago when I was producing my book "Found Objects." I then had the pleasure of interviewing him for my television series "The Best of American Design." I have always delighted in his zest for design and the energy that he conveys when talking about a particular design project or his travels. His style is timeless and carefully thought out. Thanks Vicente for your mark on American Design.
