Such a beautiful place. The gardens in Montecito are such expressions of European design created during the turn of the century. These photos taken during the 1930s show the spectacular designs that remain in many of these spectacular homes today. It is a magical place to visit set against the mountains with views of the Pacific Ocean. A favorite place of mine. A place that time has forgotten.
