Edward Durell Stone
Born in Fayetteville,
Arkansas, he went on to become one of the leaders of the
modernist movement. His designs for the
Kennedy Center, and the
Museum of Modern Art are legendary. His
simplistic, elegant designs are pictured in structures he designed in Palm Beach, Florida. His son
Hicks Stone (pictured) has just published a book on his father's life.
