Soft Colors For the JR/Sunbrella Collection Spring 2012

A soft palette of colors will prevail as designer Joe Ruggiero celebrates American Lifestyles this April at the High Point International Furniture Market. Ruggiero's Sunbrella collection will showcase colors such as mist, dove and wren as he presents his Total Home Collection at Miles Talbott Furniture. April 19th, 2012.

Creating the JR/Sunbrella Collection for Fall 2012.

Twice a year we create our introductions for Sunbrella. After meetings on trends, fashion forecasts, input from Glen Raven executives from international design shows (extremely valuable) and lifestyles; we begin to create designs that will be introduced at furniture and fabric markets. I am so proud of our team and the wonderful energy they bring to this process. Pictured here are Sunbrella Executives. After our selections are finalized Emily Cosgrove and Greg Voorhis enter the color, fabric name, yarn combinations, warp and construction for each fabric. We always work outside to make sure we have the best possible light for the color selections.

Our Sunbrella Looks For Fall 2012. The Look Is Elegance.

The studio is filled with swatch trials of our new collections for Sunbrella. We are now selecting for Fall 2012. We are so pleased with this rich collection. The look is like fine Italian silks. These fabrics, however will have the same wear ability as our other Sunbrella fabrics: "easy care and heavy wear." It is hard to believe these elegant fabrics will take the wear of a canvas. We are now putting the looks together and I will go on the record and say you have never seen Sunbrella like this before. More previews to come!

Our Best Market In High Point!

Our Sincere thanks to all who made this our very best market in High Point with Miles Talbott. To the management and reps of Miles Talbott and those craftsmen who created the most beautiful tailoring on our upholstery, to all at Sunbrella for their support and professionalism and to the dedicated artists at Gat Creek; we thank you for the support. It is a pleasure working with you all. I would also like to say thanks to all those who buy our products; you have become dear friends and we look forward to seeing you every market. Thank You All.

More Visits to the Showroom During Furniture Market.

The best part of Furniture Market is seeing new and familar faces visit the showroom. This year we greeted Julie Bova and her team and what fun they are to have talk about projects with Sunbrella. Sonya Cunningham owner of the Creative Visions Design Group and her sister where new faces but friends on the internet. Of course seeing press is always an honor. This lovely lady, Linda Sporleder from the Indiana Press, Sporleder Communications had some wonderful comments about Italian Classico. Thanks, Everyone for the visits to Miles Talbott.

What's Happening In the Joe Ruggiero Showroom.

What a pleasure to meet designer Gloria De Lourdes Blalock from Arlington, Virginia. She is extremely talented and a delightful personality. What a breath of fresh air she brought.
Beautiful New Growth arrangements grace the showroom.
Katie Brice our helper from High Point University is a delight to have help us in the showroom and did I mention beautiful as well.
The Jordan boys, Will and Ben stop by to test the Sunbrella fabrics. No worry, all my furniture is "kid friendly"

Capri inspires a room designed by Joe Ruggiero

Our Isle of Capri Room is complete. Sun filled rooms overlooking the sea with Sunbrella fabrics and Miles Talbott upholstery. The room is designed to relax and enjoy the Italian Coast. Wood pieces are part of the Joe Ruggiero Collection for Gat Creek. The flowers are from New Growth and lamps are part of the Joe Ruggiero Collection for Craftmade.
