J.Grigg New Design Store

It is always a treat to find that special little store that has special products and a certain design vision. I found such a store in San Rafael, California. A young, dynamic man, Andrew Bowman has put together a collection of home furnishings that is unique. The shop named J.Grigg is inspired by his grandfather J.Grigg (an avid fisherman like my own father with a love of the ocean) and memories of the Maryland shore on the east coast. All the product is well priced and the displays constantly change. There is a friendliness that fills the space and service is at the top of the list. You almost feel like you have come home to new surroundings. Maybe it is because I was raised on the East Coast Shoreline, but I just loved everything about the shop: displays, graphics and assortment of casual decor. Check it out at www.jgrigg.net.
