No matter where I travel in the world, this city San Francisco has a charm that is unique. Perhaps Lisbon may come the closest but the unique mix of cultures, the creative energy, the style San Francisco seems to create - is all its' own. I first came here with my parents in 1961 and vowed I would return many times and I have. Designing close to 15 design houses, I had the opportunity to get to know the design community and also when in production for my book Found Objects, I had the pleasure of knowing Michael Taylor, Billy Gaylord and John Dickerson (all design icons). I never get tired of this city by the bay.
