Maxim's:Mirror of Parisian Life. New Assouline Book.

Maxime Gaillard first opened the doors at 3 Rue Royale in 1893. I first visited in the summer of 1962. Owned by famous designer Pierre Cardin it is still the social Headquarters of le tout Paris. This new book documents this Parisian landmark through the centuries.

Paris, Roland Mouret Influences My Sunbrella Fabric.

Watching the fashion runways in Paris this week, I noticed designer Roland Mouret used a subtle color combination similar to my Sunbella fabric Deville in the color Cameo.
In his outfit the use of a dusty pink silk halter top married to a soft beige sweeping wool trouser was a "knockout."
This color combination is at home on the runway and in the home. Thank you Roland for a smashing design. I will debut this fabric at the Miles Talbott Showroom in April.
