This is the best part of my job, meeting Interior Designers throughout the country and talking about our "Made in America" products. The flowers were in full bloom as we had breakfast and lunch with designers in Washington, DC and at the historic Clifton Inn in Charlottesville, Virginia. We also previewed our new American Lifestyles collection for Sunbrella. Richard Graves, National Sales Manager for Miles Talbott and Greg Rosendale, Brand Manager for the Joe Ruggiero/ Sunbrella Collection helped make our guests feel welcome and answered questions about our wide range of products.

Gat Caperton, President Gat Creek Produces Joe Ruggiero Collection.

What a pleasure to work with Gat Caperton. All of these wood pieces in my collection are produced right here in West Virginia. Gat is a member of the Sustainable Furniture Council and his concerns for the environment are admirable. I salute this young genius for his ability to build beautiful product with a team of exceptional craftspeople. Thanks Gat for a wonderful collaboration.

Pie Cut Table. The Perfect Solution.

The Pie Cut table I designed for Gat Creek, West Virginia seems to be the perfect solution for bringing a table up beside a sofa or chair. This solid cherry ( Oak, Walnut or Maple) table can be easily the solution for the writer, snacker, TV dinner participant or the beverage taker.

I designed this table to accommodate all these needs and more.

Also happy to say it won the American Furniture Award and is crafted right here in the United States of America.

Had the pleasure of doing a lot of traveling across this great country. I have met some extraordinary designers, retailers and consumers and they all agree that "home" is what matters during this interesting period of our nation. Also enjoyed our benefit in Indiana for the Dyslexia Institute. I am always proud to help a worthy cause.

Furniture for Small Spaces.

I designed the Talmadge collection for Gat Creek specifically for small spaces. These solid wood pieces, built in America are perfect for most any size room. I especially like the graceful curves of the legs. These pieces are available in many finishes and can be modified to fit your needs. That is the beauty of having product built right here in West Virginia. The Sofa and Chair (part of the Maxfield group for Miles Talbott) are also scaled for smaller spaces.

I like furniture that can easily change its' look and with our Xavier desk I designed for Gat Creek you have many possibilities; here are only a few. Am extremely proud of our Lloyd cocktail table. Clean simple lines hand crafted here in West Virginia of White Oak. This wood species gives the piece wonderful wood character and yet with the clean lines of the design it has a very organic feeling. The cocktail table goes in many design directions from Classic Traditional to Craftsman Style and slightly Contemporary. The artisans at Gat Creek know how to build solid wood furniture from sustainable forests right here in our own country: The United States of America.
