Thanks House Beautiful for Including Joe Ruggiero Collection.

We are proud to have been selected by House Beautiful Magazine in the "looking for a banquette" story in the March issue. Our Wong Settee is the perfect banquette.
As they say in the article: " tuck it into a corner, place it at the end of a bed, pull it up to a dining table. Don't you just love a banquette?"

This piece is covered in Sunbrella Kenya/Birch and contrast cushion in Taba/Wren. We can custom this piece in many variations. All available exclusively at Miles Talbott Furniture.

Sunbrella Selects fabrics for "Fall 2011" Joe Ruggiero Collection

It is always a great event when we select fabrics for the Joe Ruggiero/ Sunbrella collection. The process starts with hundreds of "trials" and we then edit down to about 40/50 selects. This year we are seeing dusty, muted colors to clear "brights."

With me are Greg Voorhis, Design Manager and Emily Cosgrove, Designer both from Sunbrella.

I have such respect for these talented professionals.

Spring Preview: Sunbrella Water Colors for 2011.

Our collection for Sunbrella this Spring brings a softer, water color look to many of the patterns. The ancient arts of "tie dye" and needlepoint are utilized to look to the past and color to the future.

In this group we have blended colors of lavender and soft shades of blue to give a soft, pleasing palette for indoors or outdoors.

Pictured left to right: Karate, Tie Dye and Asia. All new for Spring 2011. All now available at Miles Talbott Furniture.

Joe Ruggiero Newsletter for December.

Had the pleasure of doing a lot of traveling across this great country. I have met some extraordinary designers, retailers and consumers and they all agree that "home" is what matters during this interesting period of our nation. Also enjoyed our benefit in Indiana for the Dyslexia Institute. I am always proud to help a worthy cause.

Jean Michel Frank Inspired

This new Hillsboro Club Chair for Miles Talbott was inspired by the clean, crisp lines of furniture designed famed French designer Jean Michel Frank. The low back makes it easy for designing in pairs and floating in a room. The chair is also built with superb comfort. You wouldn't think a chair this size is extremely comfortable for all sizes. The Hillsboro chair is covered in Sunbrella pattern ZigZag/Latte.

House of Blues. Interior Design

The "Blues" have it! At our recent High Point/Miles Talbott Show we saw buyers gravitate to the Blue rooms and deep Indigo Fabrics for Sunbrella. This also was the subject for the French Vogue cover and Armani ended his show with outfit after outfit of , yes you guessed it, Indigo Blue. I think we're on to something...Blue perhaps?

Fashion Show of Sunbrella Bags!

A Fashion Show of Sunbrella Bags? Yes, it was an effective way to show the new Joe Ruggiero/Sunbrella fabrics at a Charity Event in Indianapolis, Indiana for the Dyslexia, Institute. The bags were auctioned off and money raised for the Charity. This event drew a large ground at the Dream Home in co-operation with the Luxe Store in Carmel, Indiana.

The young models along with co-host Dawn Johnson helped Joe with the presentation. Looks like an enjoyable event.

Sunbrella Spring Preview: Think Pink!

SPRING PREVIEW:
Yes, we are putting together the line for Spring. The Joe Ruggiero/ Sunbrella collection is looking beyond beige and we see pink (just a touch) as the dominate color. Yes, there will be other accent colors and beige will be the base to it all but as Kay Thompson(photo left) in the movie Funny Face said we should "Think Pink" for Spring.

The Salon sofa for Miles Talbott was inspired by the Salons of Paris during the 1930s. Graceful, deep seating brought an elegance and grace to the traditional sofa. Here it is covered in Sunbrella Meridian/Wren with pillows of Velvet/Cocoa and Courtyard/Cocoa. Decorative cording is also made of Sunbrella fibers. New for Fall 2010.
