We are ready to present our collections for Spring 2011. It has been a rainy few days but great to focus on the showroom and prepare for meetings and sales reps training. What an exciting time of year, as we prepare to greet our buyers and show our new Sunbrella, Miles Talbott, Gat Creek, W.King Ambler, Casa Fiora, Craftmade introductions.
Our photo shoot with famed Interiors Photographer, Chris Brantley will capture our new products in new settings at our Miles Talbott showroom. What a pleasure to work with this gentleman. Chris has been shooting my work for about ten years now and I always marvel at his calm and professionalism. Greg Rosendale our brand manager for the Joe Ruggiero Sunbrella Collection observes. We will be sharing these photos in the next couple of weeks.
Our latest ad in Veranda Magazine demonstrates the use of Sunbrella fabrics for interior use. Our Sunbrella collection can be found at Miles Talbott Furniture. We have one hundred and twenty (120) of our fabrics ready for immediate delivery.
Chef Frank Stitts has put together a magical Italian bistro in Alabama and what a marvelous place to escape to for fresh, creative food prepared with just the right fresh ingredients and marvelous service. I was taken by the architecture of the restaurant and the simple elegance of the environment. It was worth my trip from Los Angeles and I am very fussy about the places I dine. The broiled fish, simply, creative salads; rustic pizzas and home made ice creams are superb.

Gary and Melanie Hughes certainly know how to help families create beautiful homes. The staff at their store in Birmingham, Alabama are trained to work with clients to design homes that are "kid friendly." I am proud that they sell my collections and are the main source for Joe Ruggiero Sunbrella fabrics. The Greenbriar Store is a"one stop"for easy care environments. Thank You all for the warm welcome.

In the style of the famed French Design Company, Jansen. Our new Regent chair for Miles Talbott covered in our Sunbrella Tie Dye/Denim, awaits its' seat cushion. The upholstery shop is busy as we prepare for the High Point Furniture Market, Spring 2011. This year we will be singing the "Blues."
Can a movie be any more beautiful than Stanley Kubrick's 1975 movie Barry Lyndon. This movie based on an 1844 novel, continues to excite the eye with spectacular cinematography by John Alcott. Marisa Berenson was never more beautiful and Ryan O'Neal, so perfect for the adventuresome role.
Of course, having the name Joseph was a big event in my Italian Family. My father would go to the Italian bakery and buy the St. Joseph's pastry to celebrate San Guiseppe with a delicious confection called Zeppole. Basically, cream puffs filled with custard or ricotta cream.
Large pieces of my photographs printed on canvas will debut at W.King Ambler this High Point Market. They will be on view in my showroom at Miles Talbott.
Sunbrella, Basically Beige in various gradations of monotones will be our main story for High Point Market, Spring 2011.
Color will play an important part in the Joe Ruggiero Showroom with a whole new selection of colors. The New Look will debut, April 1st, 2011 at the High Point International Furniture Market at Miles Talbott; 1690 English Road, High Point, North Carolina.
Just completed, our New Gat Creek Crawford accent table. This will be delivered for installation in our Miles Talbott showroom for debut at the High Point International Furniture Show, April 1, 2011.
I have great respect for the Japanese culture and design esthetic. My travels in Japan with my daughter who produced the "Best of Japanese Design" for HGTV, have influenced many of my fabric and furniture designs. I pray for this country that will have a burden to rebuild and continue with the lives of their people. Their gracious hospitality will long be remembered by me, my crew and those who shared in our television documentary.
