Malibu Mist Makes A Serene Room Setting.

A soft gray on the furniture from Gat Creek and the gray of the Sunbrella fabrics on the upholstery give this room a serenity that is easy to live with. The pattern Poka on the sofa is a personal favorite. All available at Miles Talbott. The Joe Ruggiero Collection.

New Lamp Inspired by Parisian Design!

Inspired by a lamp I saw in Paris this lamp I designed for Craftmade goes just about anywhere in the house. Night or Day it has a stately, slender look and is just as much at home in pairs, on a dressing table or in a corner or hallway. The bleached finish presents a clean look that will work with any color scheme. It is called appropriately the Paris Lamp. Incidentally the shade is Sunbrella so no worry placing in front of a window.

Sneak Peak of New Furniture Introduction

I am proud to introduce our new chair for Spring Market introductions. The chair is called the Conrad and is part of very well priced group that will be available for quick shipment. This chair I designed with the signature slope arm. It is beautifully carved and will go most anywhere in the house. It is a chair that travels well from "room to room." Call Larry Chilton at Miles Talbott for more information 336-885-7500.

Introducing Sunbrella Trax Mink

Our best selling fabric is Sunbrella Trax ,shown on this chair. There is a very deep color line to this pattern. Here I show it in the color Mink with Murano stripe in the color Rosewood, on the pillow. Trax is a subtle herringbone that co-ordinates with any pattern. What we call a great "go-with" design.

This picture was taken in my studio/office.

Sunbrella Damask? Looks Like Silk!

What a pleasure to use Sunbrella fabric called Venezia in applications that call for a fine Italian looking silk. With Sunbrella there is no problem with fading in the sun, so you can use for drapery, upholstery, top of bed or in this case bed hangings. I like to use tab-tie tops for easy cleaning. Yes, you can throw these panels in the wash with a cup of bleach if you need to and not worry. I also like the fact that it is pet and kid friendly!

I am off to San Francisco to present my Spring Collection of Sunbrella fabrics and my new upholstery for Miles Talbott. I will be back with photos in a few days.
This is a shot of our bedroom with Sunbrella bed drapery.

Preview Oscar's Green Room!

We have been invited by Sunbrella and Architectural Digest to preview the Green Room for the Oscar Awards tonight. The room was designed by design icon, Roger Thomas. Roger is the famed Las Vegas designer responsible for all the Wynn Hotel properties. He has been a guest on my show "Homes Across America" and you can check out the designs for his own home on You Tube under "Homes Across America." What a treat to see the work of this very talented designer.
A rendering for the Roger Thomas design "Green Room" to host the Oscar Awards Guests during the ceremony. Does anyone know why they call it a "Green Room?"

Ruggiero To Introduce New Art!

My new art will be introduced this Spring at the Furniture Market, produced by W.King Ambler. It is in the works and I have time to change the framing. These are costume sketches I did while in Venice. I would like to ask your opinion. Should I use a gold or silver frame? I would love to get your input.
Thank You.
